An evening of songs by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill.

Set in an intimate atmosphere the songs are brilliant, intelligent narratives from the underworld...wronged women, thieves and murderers, delivered in a low-pitched gutteral style half sung half spoken which is typical of the period.
